Publisher's full brown cloth, front board and spine lettered in black, dust jacket. Slightly skewed. Boards bumped at corners and with light edge wear, sheet edges slightly soiled. Jacket with a couple short closed tears and some edgewear, including some loss at the top of the spine. Light creasing and a small hole on the front panel bottom left. Still, very good. Signed by Herbert in black ball-point pen on the title-page (he has crossed out his printed name). Octavo. 374, [375-377 Afterword, 1, blank] pages. Publisher's blue paper wrappers printed in black, dust jacket for the Gollancz edition (may be proof jacket) which is oversized for the proof. Slight soiling, else very good. Currey, p. 196.
