    More Information:

    Some rubbing, bumped corners and spine ends which are fraying, small discolored spotting. Slighlty loose binding. Previous owner's inscription on preliminary blank. Slipcase has very minor rubbing, small discoloration spots and slightly darkened spine and top edge. Very good condition.

    Housed in green cloth chemise and quarter green leather over green cloth slipcase stamped in gilt.

    First edition, first issue poitns: Brown coated endpapers. Does not contain "Brown of Calaveras" as is present in the second extended edition. BAL 7246
