More Information: [Together with:] Frances Hodgson Burnett Autograph Letter Signed. Two pages of a bifolium (6.5 x 5 inches), Chapman Cottage, February 3, 1909, to "Mr. Edwards." She writes: "If you can make a contract for fifteen weeks with Martin & Emory with an advance of $500 I think it would be well to make it. If they propose to play a number of companies however I think they might pay more than $100 a week. What is your opinion? Fauntleroy is now playing in London & has been for some weeks I believe. Are there no prospects anywhere for the Lady of Quality? Yours sincerely Frances Hodgson Burnett." A bold, legible letter in fine condition.
