    Framed Leaf from the 1611 King James Bible. London: printed by Robert Barker, 1611. Single leaf D3 from the First edition, first issue of the King James Bible, with the entirety of Genesis Chapter XXXVII and the beginning of Chapter XXXVIII, following Joseph's dreams and the marriage of Judah. Visible area of leaf measures 14.75 x 9.5 inches. With elaborate large woodcut initials, two columns of text within a single-rule border. Both sides glazed and matted, housed in an ornate painted fixed-angle table frame. A few instances of spotting (possibly with repair) and light toning. Otherwise, a near fine copy of this leaf from the one of the most desirable of books in the English language.
