    Framed Group of Items Belonging to Texas Ranger Captain Jay Banks. Comprising: 1) Badge of standard form and marked, Jay Banks/Captain Retired/Texas Rangers. According to notarized statement accompanying this lot, the Halton's-made badge was worn by Captain Banks during his retirement. 2) 4-inches x 6-inches Color Photographic Print of Captain Banks. Standing with a friend in front of Banks statue at Love Field, Dallas, Texas. Captain Banks appears to be wearing the same gun belt offered in this auction, the likeness of which is seen in the statue. 3) Pair of Ivory grips for Model 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol. Each grip panel with detailed miniature of the badge accompanying this lot. According to notarized statement accompanying this lot the grips were used by Captain Banks and later sold to the author of the statement. 4) Copy of Cast A Long Shadow by Linda Jay Puckett, Ph.D. 5) Copy of Legend In Bronze by Susie Mills. According to a copy of a notarized statement signed by Banks and Mills, accompanying this lot, this is copy no. 82 of a special edition of 250. All contained in gilt framed shadow box under glass.
