Two volumes in one. 64mo in eights. 3.19 x 1.88 inches; 81 x 47 mm. 405, [1] pages. Full spring green vellum decorated in gilt, spine decorated in gilt with two brown leather spine labels lettered in gilt, decorative gilt roll to edges. Minor edgewear, boards somewhat warped. Inner dentelles gilt, yellow endpapers. All edges gilt; foxed. Very good with well-preserved, though slightly dulled, fore-edge painting.

Fore-edge painting depicting three small nude boys wrestling, flanked by columns and branches, artist unknown. 2.38 x 1.75 inches; 61 x 44 mm. 160 pages. Full brown morocco, spine lettered in gilt with fived raised bands. Minor edgewear, front joint starting. Inner dentelles gilt, marbled endpapers, bookplate to front pastedown. Internally clean and tight, all edges gilt; minor text block edgewear, ribbon marker slightly frayed. Very good or better with bright, well-preserved fore-edge painting.

Fore-edge painting depicting a countryside scene, artist unknown. 1.13 x 0.75 inches; 29 x 20 mm. Full green morocco lettered in gilt. Minor edgewear. Internally generally clean, all edges gilt; some wear to gilt on edges. Housed in custom teal morocco pull-off case decorated in gilt and black and lined in marbled paper, spine sunned.
