    W. Olaf Stapledon. Last Men in London. London: Methuen & Co., 1932.

First edition, binding priority A per Currey. Octavo. 312 pages. Eight page publisher's catalog bound at rear.

Medium blue cloth with spine lettered and ruled in gilt, front board ruled in blind. The boards are exceptional with only the slightest shelf wear. The internal contents are tight and relatively bright with some light foxing to the fore edge. The dust jacket is something of an oddity: it would appear to adhere to the Currey priority B jacket that is sea green paper stock printed in purple with a trident design on the front panel. However, over the stated "3'6/NET" price on the spine a sticker reading "Including Extra 4'- War Costs" has been added, whimsically making this a Currey priority B.1. The jacket is slightly toned and has a small tear on the back panel but remains an exceptional example. All things considered, a fine copy. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.
