Publisher's bright mustard-yellow cloth, spine stamped in black and lettered in gilt; very minor edgewear. Cream colored endpapers, all edges trimmed, top edge stained blueish-gray. Internally bright and clean, signed on the half-title by Truman Capote. In original printed dust jacket; minor wear and toning, especially to hinges, spine a bit sunned, a few small chips with minor losses, some spotting and staining, particularly to rear panel. Housed in a custom black quarter crushed morocco clamshell, spine lettered and lined in gilt, with five raised bands; near fine. A near fine book in a very good dust jacket, of a title not often seen signed at auction.
