Publisher's original blue cloth with titles and decoration in gilt on the spine and front board. Front hinge broken causing the front board to become detached. Front free endpaper loose. Wear and bumping to corners. Contents toned but tight. Good condition. Hector C. Bywater. The Great Pacific War: A History of the American-Japanese Campaign of 1931-33 and The Great Pacific War: A Historic Prophecy Now Being Fulfilled. Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1925 and 1942 respectively. Both works are first editions. Octavo. 317 and 321 pages respectively. Both works in the original publisher's cloth binding with shelf wear, especially at the extremities. The later volume has some fraying at the head of the spine.
