Authograph letter signed by Dreiser is addressed to Joseph Coates, a Philadelphia publisher who was helpful with the author's research for The Financier of 1912.
Housed in a blue cloth chemise and quarter blue leather over blue cloth slipcase stamped in gilt.
Very minor bumping to corners and spine ends, very slight discoloration to spine and edges. Slipcase is lighlty rubbed, small spotting of discoloration and top egde and spine are slightly darkened. Very good condition.
First edition, first issue points: Page 22, line 30 "is" is present rather than "it."
