Description

Rupert Norval Richardson. The Comanche Barrier to South Plains Settlement. A Century and a Half of Savage Resistance to the Advancing White Frontier. Glendale: The Arthur H. Clark Company, 1933. First edition. 8vo. [3-11] 12-424, [4, ads] pp., 8 plates, maps. Publisher's original navy blue cloth, spine gilt lettered. Corners slightly bumped, contents sound, former owner's name in ink on the fly-leaf. Curiously, a former owner has marked the book by branding it with a small "JC" along the bottom edge of the text block. Otherwise, this is a handsome volume in very good condition.
