    Richard Matheson, Clifford D. Simak, Lewis Padgett, and Hal Clement First Editions. Four books: Born of Man and Woman by Richard Matheson. (Philadelphia: The Chamberlain Press, Inc., 1954), first edition, 252 pages, red cloth with black lettering on spine, 8vo (5.75" x 8.75"), dust jacket (in protective Mylar). One of only 650 copies printed. Book is about fine, with only very minor edge and corner wear. Jacket has noticeable wear throughout, but is otherwise vibrant.
    All Flesh is Grass by Clifford D. Simak. (New York: Doubleday & Co., 1965), first edition, 260 pages, black cloth with purple lettering on spine, 8vo (5.75" x 8.5"), dust jacket (in protective Mylar). Deckled fore-edge. Very good copy with light soiling of the spine tail. Jacket is near fine, with very light wear to the edges. Bright, clean copy of this Simak classic.
    Mutant by Lewis Padgett. (New York: Gnome Press, 1953), first edition, 210 pages, blue cloth with navy blue lettering on the spine, 8vo (5.5" x 8.5"), dust jacket (in protective Mylar). Lewis Padgett was one of many pseudonyms employed by Henry Kuttner. Copy is very good, with minor rubbing to the edges. Dust jacket is also very good, with minor wear to the head and tail of the spine.
    Needle by Hal Clement. (New York: Doubleday & Co., 1950), first edition, 222 pages, beige cloth with black lettering on the spine, 8vo (5.5" x 8.25"), dust jacket (in protective Mylar). First novel by Clement, recognized in 1998 as a Grandmaster by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. This copy is about very good, with very slight soiling on the bottom edge and endpapers. Dust jacket is good, with some edge wear and noticeable wear of the spine tail. Flaps clipped slightly. Eclectic mix of mostly Golden Age science fiction.
