Ray Bradbury. Two First Editions, including: The October Country. [1955]. Publisher's red cloth. Currey's second state binding. Dust jacket. Very good. [and:] Long After Midnight. 1976. Tan boards. Near fine in lightly worn jacket.

    More Information:

The October Country. New York: Ballantine Books, [1955]. [and:] Long After Midnight. New York: Knopf, 1976.

The October Country is in publisher's red cloth with black stamping. Currey's second state binding with the Ballantine logo printed upside down in the spine. Cloth is moderately rubbed on the spine ends and corners. There is a previous owner's label attached to the front free endpaper. Dust jacket shows some even soiling and has chipping on the joints and corners. A very good copy of this early Bradbury title.

Long After Midnight is in publisher's tan boards with brown cloth spine and gold stamping. Dust jacket shows only slight edge wear with a few tiny tears on the top spine edge. A near fine copy.

Two short story collections by one the world's greatest fantasists.

    Currey, p. 57.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
