This "alternative history" novel by science-fiction ace Philip K. Dick, suggesting what may have happened if the Axis powers had won World War II, won the Hugo Award in 1962. Accustomed to writing quickly as a way of supporting himself and his wife, Dick had the luxury of writing several drafts for this novel, resulting in one of his best and most brilliant literary efforts. Even the most condition-minded collector will be tempted to read this volume. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.
