Small octavo. 223 pages. Publisher's blue boards lettered in silver with rocket on spine. Binding slightly cocked. Some moisture staining to front and rear boards, minor sunning to spine; stain to fore-edge. Some surface loss and repair to bottom corner of final text leaf. Original dust jacket is clipped at bottom corner, but printed price of 6s. 6d. net is still present; "R482" rubber stamp on front flap. Minor toning to jacket, which is professionally restored on reverse. An about very good copy. Short fiction. The author's second book and his first hardcover edition.
