Typed notation on the first page "First North American Serial Rights From Agent: Forrest J. Ackerman" and "Two books published so far this year: Slan! And The Weapons Makers. Fritz Lang reported interested in "Slan" as film." An inked inscription at the top of the first page reads "Simon & Schuster just bought His 'World of A'". Pages slightly toned and soiled with some light wear at the extremities. Very good.
"The Cataaaaa" was included in Van Vogt's 1968 book The Far- Out Worlds of A. E. Van Vogt. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.
