    First edition. (Currey binding A with publisher's name 2 cm from the base of the spine). Twelvemo. 293 pages. Illustrated with several plates illustrated by Frank R. Paul.

    Original blue cloth with gilt titles on the spine and front board. Soiling to boards and rubbed areas on the corners and spine. Edges untrimmed. Interior contents slightly toned as usual. All plates with significant damp stains. Ownership label on the front free endpaper. Bookshop label on the inside front pastedown. A very good copy of a book that should be the cornerstone of any serious science fiction collection.

    Gernsback originally serialized Ralph in his Modern Electrics magazine, shortly after the appearance of Ralph in book form Gernsback began Amazing Stories.
