    Light bumping to the corners and spine ends, very lighlty rubbed and the spine has very minor discoloration. A very good copy of the author's first novel.

    First edition, first issue, first binding points: Paper watermaked "H S Stone & Co. New York & Chicago." No printers imprint on page [461]. Page 150, line 6 "Noble's"; page 334, last line "lact...fata"; page 401, line 11 "Ask Her Maiesty, commanded the captain." Publisher's imprint on the spine is in capital letters only. Publisher's device on rear cover.
