    First edition. Twelvemo. viii, [9]-81, [82, Explanation of Plates] pages. With eight copper-engraved plates (of nine called for, though no recorded copies contain nine plates).

    Contemporary calf with gilt spine titles on a red leather title label. Binding heavily worn, with both covers almost detached. Some worming to boards. Spine partially perished at the head and along the rear joint. Front free endpaper detached. Textblock with significant toning. Scattered foxing throughout, heavier at the endpapers. Two plates missing the material beyond the first fold line. A couple of plates folded sloppily or wrinkled. Marginal and fore-edge chipping to some plates. A good copy of a rare work.
