Finely bound by Edmonds & Remnants in a contemporary milk chocolate morocco binding with elaborate interlocking ruling, diced inner panels within, darker brown ruling elaborately throughout, spine lettered in gilt, spine compartments also with five diamond interlocking devices, gauffered gilt edges, marbled endpapers. Inoffensive foxing within to some plate, edges with light wear, extremities and joints rubbed, inscription to verso of front free dated 1862, else very solid and extremely attractive copy in an unusual deluxe binding.
