    More Information:

    Binding is slightly rubbed with lightly bumped spine ends, displays mild white discoloration and the textblock fore-edge is darkened. Minor toning to endpapers. Small bookplate affixed to rear pastedown endpaper. Jacket is soiled, the spine is darkened, some small closed tears and chips to the edges and small losses to the spine and rear flap. A very good copy of the work that earned the author a Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, the first woman to attain this honored distinction.

    First edition points: As stated with the code "K-X" to signify an October 1923 printing.
