English author Eric Rucker Eddison (1882-1945) worked at the Board of Trade for thirty-two years before retiring to write full-time. His first work of fiction, The Worm of Ouroboros was one of four works of high fantasy (recreating the Jacobean prose style) that drew praise from such heavyweights as J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, and Ursula Le Guin. To create his works, Addison admitted to "borrowing" from earlier literary legends such as Homer, Sappho, and Shakespeare. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.View More Testimonials
