The books are in very good to fine condition, with generally moderate wear and/or damage to dust jackets.
Forester was an English novelist who rose to fame writing tales of adventure with military themes. Perhaps his most notable works are the eleven volume Horatio Hornblower series about naval warfare during the Napoleonic era, and his great classic The African Queen. Forester was awarded the 1938 James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Fiction.
