Original blue cloth with ship vignette on the front board in silver and titles and decoration stamped in silver on the spine. Modest shelf wear to boards. Contents bright. Dust jacket toned on the spine and real panels with a closed tear near the head of the spine and a 3" closed tear on the back panel. Armorial bookplate on the front free endpaper. Very good. [and:] Men Against the Sea. Boston: Little, Brown, and Company, 1934. First edition. Octavo. 251 pages. Original green cloth with ship vignette on the front board in silver and titles and decoration stamped in silver on the spine. Map endpapers. Some toning to the spine panel and top edges of the boards. Armorial bookplate on the second front free endpaper. Otherwise a clean copy in a worn dust jacket missing a small section at the head of the spine and with additional edge wear. Very good. [and:] Pitcairn's Island. Boston: Little, Brown, and Company, 1934. First edition. Octavo. 333 pages. Original orange cloth with ship vignette on the front board in silver and titles and decoration stamped in silver on the spine. Map endpapers. A few small scattered dark spots appear on the boards. Armorial bookplate on the second front free endpaper, otherwise a very good copy in a tatty dust jacket with a toned spine panel and a few small closed tears.
