Slim volume comprised of two poems by Algernon Charles Swinburne ("The Holy Spirit of Man" and "An Old Saying"), explanatory text on the publication history of Hertzog's original pamphlet in 1945, and correspondence between interested parties, including Robert Graves who wrote the original Foreword. Laid in is a card reading "Greetings and best wishes from Vivian and Carl."
Original double-fold maroon paper covers, with square back, hand sewed; lettered in silver. Minor surface loss to wrappers. Fine.
