A collaboration between Yale University and the American Philosophical Society, The Papers of Benjamin Franklin project was established in 1954. Volumes 1-22 cover the years 1706-1776, including Franklin's early life, years in Philadelphia, and trips to England. Volumes 23-38 cover 1776-1783, including his years in France. This lot includes the first thirty volumes in the series.
