    Original green ribbed cloth with silhouette of Holmes on yellow blocking and lettering in black on the front board and spine. Light wear to boards at the extremities, spine panel slightly darkened. A bright and sound copy in very good condition.

     

    The Canadian edition was issued in February, 1905 and thus precedes the English edition which was issued in March. Only 1217 copies of the Canadian issue were printed in cloth, making this a scarce edition indeed.
