First edition. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper. Twelvemo. 216 pages.
Original brown cloth with decoration stamped in blind on the front and back boards and titles in gilt on the spine. Titles tarnished. Spine slightly faded. Light shelf wear, mainly at the corners. Contents tight with minimal toning. Large red library stamps on the front pastedown and front free endpaper with inked Dewey decimal numbers. Three or four smaller red ink library stamps at the head of a few pages in text and on the lower and upper edges of the pages. Still a very good copy.
A superb record of this Pennsylvania cavalry regiment which includes rosters of personnel with information of promotions, desertions, and the regiment's killed and wounded.
