    Slightly rubbed, bumped corners and spine ends which are starting to fray, discoloration to top edge and spine and slightly leaning spine. Discoloration to endpapers, previous owner's name embossed on front free endpaper and half title-page, penned name and pencil notations of half title-page and some foxing on preliminary and final pages. A good copy of the American poet Cincinnatus Miller's work who wrote under the pen name Joaquin Miller.      

    Published in 1871 in London by Longmans, Green, Reader, and Dyer. Published in 1871 in Boston by Roberts Brothers. The Canadian edition follows the American content as it includes the poems "Even So," "Kit Carson's Ride" and "Myrrh," all of which are not present in the London edition. BAL 13885
