    Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe for C. E. Lauriat Co. of Boston (stamp-signed in gilt on the front turn-ins) in full red morocco. Covers with an elaborate gilt border enclosing Dickens's gilt crest and facsimile signature, spine elaborately tooled and lettered in gilt in compartments, board edges ruled in gilt, turn-ins decoratively tooled in gilt, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers.
