Publisher's quarter leather over red cloth, red label on spine. Top edge gilt. Includes an extra suite of plates, with an original pencil drawing, all signed, in a cloth chemise. All housed in a cloth slipcase. Minimal chipping on edges of spine label. Light staining on chemise spine, minor effects on upper and lower left corners of signed prints. Near fine. A beautiful edition of the book that inspired countless future tales of horror and science fiction. Pennyroyal 29.
