    The Black Sun Press Alice

[Black Sun Press]. Lewis Carroll. Alice in Wonderland. Paris: Black Sun Press, 1930. American edition, limited to 350 copies on Rives Paper of which this is number 95. Oblong quarto. 114 pages and six color lithographs by Marie Laurencin with laid in tissue-guards, two lacking. Publisher's paper wrappers with folded edges. Titles and publisher's device printed in black and red. Top page edges trimmed with remainder uncut. Mild rubbing to wrappers with one-half-inch splits beginning from joint ends. Some toning to edges and spine with lightly scattered foxing. Lacking original glassine. Publisher's folding paper-over-boards chemise with minor rubbing and splitting to ends. Lacking original slipcase. A very good example of what was one of The Black Sun Press' "finest efforts, justifiably renowned."

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
