Illustrated with engravings, some plates cut around and mounted. Custom fine binding; full crushed red morocco triple ruled in gilt, spine decorated in gilt with five raised bands, double solid gilt roll to edges. Minor edgewear, volume I rebacked with original spine laid down and rear joint just starting. Inner dentelles gilt, marbled endpapers, book label and bookplate to front endpapers, Volume I rear hinge starting, Volume II rear hinge detached but front hinge holding, binder's stamped to front free endpaper verso of Volume I, "R. Thomas." Internally generally clean, all edges gilt; minor foxing, minor text block edgewear, Volume II somewhat shaken. Very good.

Fine custom binding; tree calf ruled with a Greek meadros in gilt, spine decorated in gilt with five raised bands and red and black leather spine labels lettered in gilt. Inner dentelles gilt, marbled endpapers, front hinge starting. Internally generally clean and tight, all edges gilt; minor intermittent soiling, minor text block edgewear, maroon ribbon place holder somewhat frayed. Very good.

Illustrated with color plates after Jacquier. Sangorski & Sutcliffe (London) fine binding; full light green calf stamped in gilt and blind, spine decorated in gilt with red morocco gilt-lettered spine labels, double solid gilt roll to edges. Spine and boards sunned and faded, corners just bumped, minor edgewear. Inner dentelles gilt, marbled endpapers, binder's stamp to front free endpaper recto.
