Publisher's full red cloth, front board and spine lettered in gilt, dust jacket. Jacket has had professional restoration and repair, some rubbing, mild wear, and thumbsoiling to jacket, cloth spine rubbed and a bit dull, upper corners lightly bumped, some offsetting to endleaves, bookseller's ticket on rear pastedown. Still, near fine. Housed in cloth slipcase. This is the second story ever written by Burroughs, but it took nearly thirteen years to get published. Zeuschner 381.
