    Description

Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzan and the Leopard Men. Complete in six serialized parts in The Blue Book Magazine, 1932 - 1933.

    More Information:

Complete in six serialized parts in The Blue Book Magazine, August through December, 1932, January 1933. In five quarto and one folio issues. Original publisher's wrappers. Issues generally worn and brittle, with spines chipped and edgewear, creasing and chipping to wrappers, two issues lacking spines. Still, a good example of a very rare and fragile item. Due to flagging sales of Blue Book Magazine, the August 1932 issue was the last issue in folio format and sold for 25 - from then on, the magazine was in a quarto format and priced at 15. From the Edgar Rice Burroughs Collection of Roy and Dela White.

In addition, these issues have the first five (of six) serialized parts of Edwin Balmer and Philip Wylie's classic of disaster science fiction, When Worlds Collide.
