    Edition Magnifique, limited to 5 copies of which this is number 5. With a fore-edge painting of a fairy surrounded by holly leaves. Octavo. 335 pages. 10 etchings, each in 4 states, with one state hand-colored. Laid in is an ALS from Dumas.

    Publisher's full green morocco with five raised bands. Gilt titles on backstrip. Gilt vignettes on front and rear. All edges gilt. Gilt inner dentelles. Green morocco doublures with red and maroon onlays, and elaborate gilt floral decoration. Green silk moiré endpapers, perishing. Mild rubbing with darkened extremities. First section of plates detached. A very good copy. From the Estate of John McLaughlin.
