    F. Scott Fitzgerald. All the Sad Young Men. New York: Scribner's, 1926. First edition.

    More Information:

    F. Scott Fitzgerald. All the Sad Young Men. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1926. First edition. Octavo. 267 pages. Publisher's dark green cloth with blind-stamped lettering to front board and gilt spine titles. Original pictorial dust jacket by Cleonike Damianakes Wilkins. Moderate edge wear to the boards. Small areas of paint residue to spine ends and edges. Binding broken at the half-title page but holding by the mull cloth. Rear hinge over-opened before the rear free endpaper. Very occasional foxing, with a small marginal dampstain to the bottom text edge. Text edges dusty. Some chipping to the dust jacket spine ends and corners, including a large missing area at the spine head, which has taken away all text except for "Fitzgerald." Jacket separated along the front spine fold, but held together with two small pieces of white tape on the verso. Most unfortunately, a previous owner decided to paint blue-green streaks along the rear spine fold and front flap fold. Overall, a fair copy and nonetheless rare in jacket.
