    Contemporary half morocco over blue cloth embossed boards. Gilt-stamped designs and lettering to the spines. Marbled edges. Very good.

    Duflot de Mofras was a French diplomat who was sent to the Pacific Coast in 1839 in hopes of bringing French commerce to the region. "One of the great books on the West Coast" (Graff).
