Later printing, signed by Gregorio Fuentes, Captain of Hemingway's boat and an influence on Santiago, the protagonist of Old Man and the Sea, on the half title page. Publisher's black cloth, spine lettered in silver. Occasional light rubbing, lacking jacket. Near fine. [and:] The Old Man and the Sea. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1952. First edition. Publisher's light blue cloth spine lettered in silver, in original dust jacket. Cloth faintly foxed, extremities rubbed. Jacket edges and folds lightly worn, price-clipped. Very good.
