Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered in black, front board ruled in blind and decoratively stamped in black, outlining text; in original dust jacket. Spine ends and corners lightly worn. Previous owner signature on the front endpaper. Dust jacket edges worn; two large closed tears, one at the rear spine fold the other at the front flap fold, another, shorter, tear across the spine panel; all tears held by tape, the entire rear spine fold reinforced, as less than half still attached; a few soft diagonal creases across the front panel; occasional light soiling. A near fine copy in a good, but still presentable, dust jacket. The fourth Ellery Queen mystery. From the KoKo collection.
