Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered in black, front board paneled in blind and lettered and decoratively stamped in black. Top edge of rear board dulled; spine ends and corners lightly worn. Few tiny splashes to front edge of text block; erasure to upper corner of front endpaper, causing small hole; small bruise to upper edge of rear pastedown. Dust jacket edges worn with some chipping at fold edges; long (about three inches) closed tear at upper edge of rear flap fold, four other much shorter closed tears, each mended by tape on verso; some light rubbing to front panel. Very good with a nice overall appearance. The fifth Ellery Queen mystery. From the KoKo Collection.
