Octavo. 305 pp. Publisher's black cloth with white lettering and white shoe stamped on the front board and white-lettered spine. Minor edgewear, head and foot of spine just pushed. Small pen notation to upper edge of front pastedown. Internally clean and tight copy; top edge slightly darkened, minor edgewear. Dust jacket featuring distinctive Queen of Diamonds design common to early Queen dust jackets, unclipped (price $2.00); moderate edgewear, chipping to head and foot of spine panel and corners, minor soiling on spine, somewhat rubbed, toned on verso.
