Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered in black, front board lettered and stamped in black, in original restored dust jacket. Gentle spine lean; backstrip very faintly dulled; spine ends and corners lightly worn. Dust jacket spine panel faded; light soiling around folds; upper portion of front panel softly creased; restoration work to spine ends and edges of folds, also mending a few closed tears, including a sizable one curving along the upper edge of the front panel. A near fine copy in an attractive restored jacket. The eighth Ellery Queen mystery.
