Modern half pebbled leather over marble paper covered boards, gilt titles on spines, all edges speckled. Marbled endpapers. Boards mildly rubbed affecting leather on joints, a touch of wear on joints and edges with a few signs of abrasions. Text block edges and pages lightly toned, front and rear blanks faintly foxed, occasional spots of foxing here and there; frontispieces somewhat foxed, affecting images; ownership signatures on upper margins of title pages, offsetting from frontispieces onto title pages. Dust soiling on page 392 of Volume I; 1.25 inch closed tear on left of "Chart of the Euxine..." Very good.
