    Edgar Rice Burroughs. The Mad King. Chicago: A. C. McClurg, 1926. First edition, first state with errors on page 12 and 92. Octavo (7.375 x 4.75 inches; 188 x 120 mm.). [vi], 365, [1, blank] pages; frontispiece. Publisher's purplish-blue cloth; spine and front board lettered in orange; in restored original dust jacket. Spine very gently leaning; backstrip faintly dulled; spine ends faded and lightly worn with some very minor fraying to bottom edge; board edges rubbed; spine lettering slightly worn. Fore edge of text block lightly soiled; endpapers with some faint offsetting, previous owner signature. Dust jacket restored at edges and folds, particularly to the front spine fold, some filling of interior paper loss to rear flap fold. Very good in an attractive restored jacket.
