    Edgar Rice Burroughs. The Girl from Hollywood. New York: The Macaulay Company, [1923]. First edition, variant in textured (not pebbled) cloth with "he said" not present on the frontispiece. Octavo. 320 pages [note: first two pages are blank]. Frontispiece. Publisher's red cloth, spine and front board lettered in green, front board decoratively stamped in green, in original first-state dust jacket. Backstrip very faintly dulled; boards with sporadic light soiling; extremities lightly worn. Top edge of text block slightly dust soiled. Small ticket removed from front pastedown, leaving minor bruise and faint offsetting opposite; front hinge cracked (but holding), with some over-opening throughout. A very good copy in a heavily-restored and lined dust jacket.
