Octavo. , 400, [1, remainder of text], [1, blank] pages. Vignette title-page with Tarzan silhouette by Fred J. Arting. Publisher's dark red cloth, spine and front lettered in gilt, front with double blind-stamped rule; all text block edges trimmed; facsimile dust jacket. Foot of spine crimped; spine ends showing a touch of wear; backstrip faded just a shade, with gilt lettering tarnished and rubbed; some wear along bottom edges of boards, with lower corners peeking through cloth. Endpapers and text block softly dulled with age; occasional mild, marginal thumbsoiling and staining scattered throughout interior. Very good. Zeuschner, pp. 424-425.
