[and:] The Deputy Sheriff of Comanche County. 1940. 312 pages. Very good in crisp, near fine dust jacket - jacket has a narrow strip of smoke damage, most likely from the famous Burroughs warehouse fire of 1958. [and:] I Am a Barbarian. 1967. 287 pages. Near fine in dust jacket. [and:] Jungle Girl. 1932. 318 pages. Some small stains to boards. No dust jacket. Very good. [and:] The Lad and the Lion. 1938. 317 pages. Edges of boards rubbed. No dust jacket. Very good. [and:] another copy. Ex-library. Dust jacket complete, but pasted to brown paper for reinforcement. Good. [and:] The Oakdale Affair and the Rider. 1937. Inked name of previous owner on front pastedown. Very good, in very good Grosset & Dunlap dust jacket with some mild shelf-wear. [and:] another copy. Boards scuffed, no dust jacket. Very good.

    In the 1920s, Edgar Rice Burroughs decided to better control his literary output by incorporating. By 1931, his novels began to be published under his own imprint. I Am a Barbarian, posthumously published in 1967, was the last title released under the Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. imprint.
