Frontispiece and four additional inserted plates by Frank E. Schoonover. Publisher's brown cloth, spine and front lettered in red; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Faintest hint of shelf wear at extremities of binding; spot of pale soiling at rear board. Endpapers and text block very softly dulled; minor scratch at top edge of text block. Jacket mildly rubbed and soiled, with wear along edges and folds; creasing, darkening, minuscule tears, and some minor nicking and chipping to edges; spine and flap fold ends reinforced with clear tape at recto and verso; a few small splits starting at middle of flap folds; minimal rubbing at verso.
