Two fold-out pages containing four panoramic views of the town square. Black cloth with gilt titles and rules. Cloth worn and chipped at spine ends, along rear joint, and along extremities. Corners bumped. Hinges starting, but binding still quite sturdy. Minor dampstaining at top margin of pages. Ink name on front pastedown of Walter B. Wilson, publisher of the McKinney, Texas Courier-Gazette. In generally very good condition. Scarce.

    Comprehensive county history with titles such as "The Pioneer Settler and Settlements," "Early Taxpayers, Prairie Fires, and Wild Horses," "Secession and War -- Our Contribution of Men -- Its Effects on the Morals of Our People," "Reconstruction and Crime Wave," "The Indian," and "Denton County and the War with Germany." Much on Sam Bass. Numerous photographs of people and places, including the four stunning panoramic photos of each side of the Denton town square.
